Troubles continue at the LA/Long Beach ports.

"We’re aggressively marketing Oakland as a key hub for West Coast and intermodal cargo. We’re seeking long-term relationships with shippers who value high productivity and good intermodal connections."

Throughput at the Port of Oakland totaled 178,374 20-foot containers in September, new statistics show, the highest level since Aug. 2013. Though it is still peak season for volumes, at
least part of the reason is customers moving discretionary cargo north to avoid crippling delays in southern California, Driscoll said.
